Throughout the month of May, Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District customers may see service representatives from Wachs Water Service in your neighborhood working on behalf of the district. They have been contracted to locate water leaks in 100 miles (one-third) of the water distribution system.
They are highly trained water services field technicians that have more than a decade of experience with multiple technologies and techniques for water main leak detection and have inspected small- and large-diameter water mains for leaks.
The technicians will be employing the use of ultra-sensitive sonic listening devices.
