Tuesday night the League of Women Voters hosted candidates for the upcoming Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District (PAWSD) Board election in an open forum.
Five candidates are currently running for two seats on the board; however, only three candidates were present Tuesday night. Present were Allan Bunch, current PAWSD board chair, and candidates Jennifer Burck and David West. Absent were candidates Paul Hansen and Gordon McIver, who declined to attend the forum, citing “conflicts” as the reason for their absence.
