A Pagosa Springs native drowned in a work-related accident late Thursday morning.
Jose Elesio Martinez, better known as JoJo, in his early 50s, was working at a small, private lake off of Perry Drive northwest of Pagosa Springs when the incident occurred.
Martinez worked for the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District.
An investigation into the incident is continuing.
