The Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs would like to announce its community grants for the year.

Hospice of Mercy received a $1,000 Rotary grant to help them continue to provide Archuleta County residents with quality end-of-life care. The grant will help cover services like spiritual care, bereavement services, charity patient care and volunteer coordination not reimbursed by Medicare Hospice Benefit or other insurances.

A $500 Rotary award was given to the Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program to provide immediate emergency confidential hotline services for victims needing assistance. The hotline is staffed 24/7 by trained advocates responding to the immediate and early crisis intervention needs of victims in our community.

Our Savior Lutheran School received a $500 Rotary grant to purchase tricycles for physical education and hot lunches at the school.

The Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center also received a $500 Rotary grant to help fund childbirth education classes.
