Charlotte H. Archuleta passed away Sunday, March 30.She was born Aug. 14, 1928, to Perfecto and Emilia Garcia in Pagosa Springs.
She will be remembered for her beautiful singing and her love of hats. She was a member of the Guadalupanas and the Altar Society. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilfred Archuleta, and two sons, Dennis Ray Archuleta and John Charles Archuleta.
She is survived by her children, Eddie Archuleta and wife Darlene of Pagosa Springs; Martha Valdez and husband Joe Larry of Albuquerque, N.M.; Marie (Madeline) Villareal of Espanola, N.M.; Sally Alling and husband Robert of Pagosa Springs; Charlene Shaulis and husband Dennis of Corrales, N.M.; and 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 6, at 7 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 7, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment immediately following at Hilltop Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Parish Hall following interment.
