The Taste of Pagosa Cookbook committee will highlight “Brunch & Breakfast” in this, the fourth installment of the cookbook series recipe contests. The fundraiser is set for tomorrow at The Quality Resort.
The contest is open to all and there is no fee to enter a recipe. Entries need to be booked by noon tomorrow. Please call Tari Woods to get complete details for entry at 731-8877. Plates, bowls and napkins are provided.
Entry forms will be available and food may be delivered to The Quality Resort’s Ponderosa Room between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the admission fee is $20.
There will be five judges for this event, including a local celebrity.
New this year is “The People’s Choice Award.” You are invited to come and vote for your favorite food item. All judging is anonymous.
Don’t forget the deadlines for the cookbook:
• April 30 is the last day to get your business card in the cookbook as a sponsor.
• May 2 is the deadline to submit a recipe for the cookbook and the contests.
• June 6 will be a culmination of all the past winners at the Winner Circle Buffet. The cookbook will be for sale and it will be available at local stores.
