Kindergarten registration for the next school year is scheduled to begin Tuesday, April 22 and runs through Friday, May 2, at Pagosa Springs Elementary School.
Appointments for your child’s individual registration and screening can be made by calling the elementary school office at 264-2229 beginning Wednesday, April 16.
Future kindergarten students must turn 5 years old on or before Sept. 15, 2014, in order to be registered for the 2014-2015 school year.
These three items are necessary to complete a child’s registration: the child’s birth certificate, immunization record or a signed exemption form, and Social Security card. Additionally, a $120 deposit in the form of cash, check or money order is required for full-day kindergarten. There is no fee for half day kindergarten.
