With the Town of Pagosa Springs election just around the corner on April 8, opinions on one ballot issue in particular are being issued often — Ballot Issue A, the proposed recreation center.
Tuesday, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners added their opinions to the pot, making individual comments at their regular meeting.
“This is a very important issue for Archuleta County,” BoCC Chair Clifford Lucero said in introducing the issue, which was listed on the agenda under the heading of commissioner comments, with the agenda item simply stating, “Regarding the proposed recreation center.”
