PAWSD negotiates with the SJWCD, makes election decisions

The Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District (PAWSD) board met Tuesday, Jan. 14, to discuss a variety of issues in the new year.

All five board members were in attendance as was Rod Proffitt, the board chair of the San Juan Water Conservancy District (SJWCD), and various community members. Proffitt was present to discuss two separate agenda items: a SJWCD request for memorial of former district manager Jack DeLange on the PAWSD campus and a SJWCD request for PAWSD to participate in regards to a conservation easement transaction fee agreement.
