Lavern (Harry) Harold Martin passed away Dec. 18 in Durango of pneumonia and emphysema. Harry was born Dec. 13, 1952, in Denver to Dairl and Dorothy Martin.He lived in Pagosa Springs from 1999 to the time of death. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet (Dolly) Vukelich, daughter Unity Serene Sjoblom, his father Dairl Martin and mother Dorothy Martin.
He is survived by his brothers Dairl and David Martin of Eau Claire, Wis.; Butch Martin of Portland, Ore.; sister MaryAnn Berg of Altoona, Wis.; sister Linda Martin of Eau Claire; sister Annamarie Govin of Elk Mound, Wis.; his daughter Allynda Casterton of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter Faith Heck of Eau Claire; son Leon Martin and daughter-in-law Rachel Martin of Durango; and son Justin Martin and daughter-in-law Michelle Martin of Bayfield.
A service will be held at the Pagosa Springs funeral home, 141 N. 14th St., on Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. All friends and family are invited to his celebration of life.
