The unemployment rate for Archuleta County rose to 6.8 percent in November, with 6,176 people in the labor force and 421 of those claiming unemployment.
In October, there were 6,207 people in the county’s labor force with 404, or 6.5 percent, claiming unemployment. The total workforce dropped 31 people over the month, while the number of unemployed people was up by 17, causing the .3 percent increase in unemployment.
