Town considers changes to LUDC

In order for Pagosa Springs to remain in good standings with the National Flood Insurance Program and eligible for potential grant funding from the Colorado Water Conservation Board, the town council decided this week to approve the second reading of Ordinance 799, thereby updating the Land Use and Development Code to incorporate the new, higher flood plain standards recently adopted by the state.

This was one of several recent changes the council has proposed to the LUDC or other sections of the municipal code.
