Longtime resident of Pagosa Springs, Getruditas Gallegos, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2013.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Loretta Friend.
She is survived by husband Ben Gallegos; a brother, Jose Abeyta; sons, Ben Jr. (Lupita) and John (Yolanda); 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. A rosary vigil was held Wednesday, October 9, at John Paul II Catholic Church, followed by funeral services Thursday, October 10, at 10 a.m. at JPII.
