The third edition of the Pagosa Springs Area Community Resource Directory is about to be released.

One of the goals of this directory is to aid in referring members of the community who may need assorted services. The Community Resource Directory includes all social services available in the county, both public and private, including, but not limited to: direct assistance such as food and clothing; financial assistance both short and long term; housing assistance; counseling services; substance abuse services; 12 step groups; health care services; education services; child care resources and providers; early childhood education; transportation services; veteran’s services; churches and other religious organizations.

If your organization would like to be included in the new directory, or if you have been in a previous edition of the directory and need your information updated, we would like to include you or make any necessary changes.

This Community Resource Directory is funded through the School/Community Prevention Project (grant funded partially through the Department of Behavioral Health) as well as support from San Juan Basin Area of the Aging, Veterans for Veterans and the Pagosa Springs Youth Center.

Contact Erica DeVoti, prevention coordinator, Archuleta School District, at 264-2228, Ext. 476, if you or your organization are a resource to the community and wish to be included in the new edition.

Once the directories are printed, they will be available in the community at specific locations, including the Department. of Human Services, the Ruby Sisson Library, the Visitors Center and throughout the school district for families looking for additional resources. The deadline for submission is Sept. 19, 2013.
