The Pagosa Springs town council has scheduled a work session for Friday, Aug. 23, at 5 p.m. in order to discuss the marijuana issue, and members of the town’s planning commission were strongly encouraged to attend in case their expertise is needed to help draft regulations.
At Tuesday night’s planning commission meeting, town planner James Dickhoff explained some of the issues to be discussed, such as the number of licenses, zoning, ownership, transfer of licenses, signage and advertising, open or public use, and cannabis clubs.
