According to fire officials, Archuleta County residents are experiencing heavy smoke due to a shift in winds along with an inversion. Winds are now coming from the Northwest. The smoke is from existing fires. There are no new fires and the winds are not as strong as has been experienced previously. The fires are not moving closer to Pagosa and are not more active on the west side of the West Fork Complex.
