Committees get together to work together

In light of recent events concerning Reservoir Hill and the special election to change the Pagosa Springs Home Rule Charter, town council decided to hold a work session with all of its ancillary boards and committees in an attempt to foster better communication and a more efficient use of time and resources.

“A couple of weeks ago,” council member Kathie Lattin began, “some of the commissions and councils got together to figure out if what we have going on works, and we found a couple of places where we thought we were missing something. We decided the best place to start was getting together with town council and figuring out a few things. What do we do and what are our responsibilities? One of the things we want to do right now is work on fostering a stronger relationship and building understanding.”
