The Southwestern Water Conservation District is hosting an afternoon of information on weather modification (cloud seeding) May 30, from 12:30-4 p.m. at the Durango Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
The program includes presentations from experts in the field from California, Wyoming, Arizona, Utah and Colorado.
The program is open to the public and free of charge. Reservations are not necessary.
