Many times, Mother’s Day first starts with pregnancy. Even in adoption and pregnancy loss, many are affected by the steps of life beginning in the womb.

This Mother’s Day, treat the mothers in your lives to a special breakfast, which also supports the Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center. This organization provided more than 1,400 classes in 2012 to teach and support expecting mothers, mothers, and so much more. At the breakfast, you can expect a menu of pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee and orange juice. The breakfast is being sponsored by the IHM Knights of Columbus Council 7560 to benefit the Pagosa Pregnancy Support Center. Pro-life chairman Roy Vega and breakfast chairman Tom Councilor, along with other volunteer Knights, are happy to support the cause of defending life, both born and unborn.

This event is Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at John Paul II Catholic Church, under the tent. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 6-12 years old, and free for children under 6 years of age.
