When we could be together …
With happy hours and fun-filled days
Through bright and stormy weather.
You’ve always been right there for me,
From childhood through the years.
You bandaged knees and patched up cuts
And eased my childhood fears.
Your love is such a blessing, Mom;
You’ve been my dearest friend.
If I came to you with a broken heart …
There was nothing you couldn’t mend.
God’s still in control; we’re under His care;
