If you have always dreamed of hunting alligators in Lousiana, this is your opportunity!

There are less than 40 tickets remaining for purchase in Pagosa Springs Rotary Club’s “Louisiana Alligator Hunt” raffle.

This isn’t just any alligator hunt — it’s your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hunt with Troy Landry from the television show Swamp People.

The winner will receive alligator tags/permits for two hunters, lodging on a houseboat with Louisiana cuisine provided, guided hunt, dinner with Landry on Saturday afternoon, and hunters will accompany Landry hunting on Sunday morning. Gun, ammunition and boat are provided and your alligator heads will be mounted and delivered.

The hunt is valued at $8,000 and was generously donated by Rotarian Mike Vanover and his wife, Renee. Tickets are $100 each with a maximum of 100 tickets sold.

The raffle drawing will be held Saturday, May 4, at 5 p.m. at Keyah Grande Ranch during the Rotary Kentucky Derby Gala. You do not have to be present to win.

For more information, call LaQuita Johnson at 264-0661.
