As of this week, Archuleta County remains on track to reconstruct a portion of Piedra Road this summer, despite what one county commissioner told the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club last week.
According to Archuleta County Public Works Director Ken Feyen, the county and its engineering consultant are on track for the reconstruction of a portion of the road to occur this summer, though several variables remain that could push back construction until 2014.
