Annual water seminar in Durango

The Southwestern Water Conservation District will hold its 31st annual water seminar on Friday, April 5, at the Doubletree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio, Durango.

There is a lineup of notable speakers who will address water history in Colorado and water issues in the West. Invited speakers include a policy advisor from Western Governors Association, the assistant director from CWCB, a Colorado River Basin Study Panel moderated by the CEO of Denver Water, among others.

Registration is $35 in advance and $40 at the door, per person. This fee includes morning and afternoon snacks and a buffet lunch.

Registration on April 6 begins at 8 a.m. The seminar will conclude at approximately 4:30 p.m.
