The Town of Pagosa Springs will host a meeting at 5 p.m. this afternoon at the Pagosa Springs Elementary School to present plans for a proposed trail that would connect the downtown area to the school grounds.
Town officials are soliciting input from parents and interested citizens concerning this new and safer route to the school. The section of trail is proposed as a first step, in town, leading toward the ultimate goal of completing the Town-to-Lakes Trail system.
The presentation will be brief — less than an hour. Pizza and dessert will be served.
