In a quick, pre-holiday special meeting on Dec. 19, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners attended to several items of year-end and budgetary business, as well as approving a hiring per the county’s “hiring chill” policy.
Among those budget-related items disposed of during the meeting were authorizing the expenditure of unanticipated revenue, approving a budget transfer, and certifying mill levies to the 21 governmental and taxing entities within Archuleta County.
