Unitarian Universalists to continue ‘What Our World Needs Now – Universalism in a Polarized Age’ series

Posted

Join us at the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship this Sunday as we continue our series “What Our World Needs Now: Universalism in a Polarized Age” presented by the ministers at Foothills Unitarian Church, this week the Rev. Gretchen Haley.

On Sept. 29, an added fifth Sunday to our regularly scheduled services, we will stream the sermon entitled “The Underdog.”

We start with the understanding that we are all in this together, but also, we aren’t all in the same situation, and we don’t all hold the same power. This sermon explores how power and vulnerability impact the message and call of Universalism. Coffee and conversation will continue after the service for fellowship.

Join us in person at our services, normally held on the first and third Sundays of the month at 10:30 a.m. We are located at Unit B-15 of the Greenbriar Plaza, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd. on the north side facing the Pagosa Peak.

We offer Zoom streaming of our service, which can be found at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8991941305. Visit our website, www.pagosauu.org, to find our current newsletter with other offerings.

Offered on alternate Sundays, in-person meditation practice is on the second and fourth Sundays, 9 to 10:30 a.m. We encourage you to email your interest to info@PagosaUU.org to be added to the email list for announcements or changes.

As a Welcoming Congregation we believe that all of who you are is sacred, and all of who you are is welcome. Find out more at https://www.uua.org/lgbtq.
