The Pagosa Pickleball Club is proud to announce that there were 198 registered participants with players ranging in age from 9 to 75+ in our annual tournament.
A total of 419 matches were played over three days Sept. 13-15.
More than half of the players were from outside of Colorado, with the biggest contingent coming from New Mexico.
Exactly half of the players in the Mixed 3.5 division were 65 years old or older. The Mixed 3.5 division was our largest with 26 teams. About one-third of women in the Women’s 3.0 and 3.5 divisions were 65 or older.
There were three father-son teams that won medals. Pagosa Springs Club members medaled in all of the men’s divisions, the Women’s 4.0, and the Mixed 3.5 and 4.5 divisions.
