Free Four-Day Course in Fly-Fishing Basics. 2-5 p.m., Pagosa Bible Church, 209 Harman Park Drive. Fly fishing is one of the most spirit-fulfilling activities you can do and in this study we will learn how biblical principles can help anyone find inner peace through this life enhancing venture. Each class is designed to teach potential future and current fly-fishers the basics of equipment and the techniques to catch fish in rivers and lakes. The course will cover equipment needed, techniques for tying knots along with casting instruction and practice. We will also learn about artificial flies and how they imitate nature and effective ways to use the variety of flies available.
