Archuleta County Genealogical Society Meeting. 10 a.m., Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St. We will welcome back Katherine Sturdevant as the presenter. Her topic for this meeting will be “Thanksgiving: The Surprising Family History of America’s Great Food Event.” Come join us to learn the social history of America’s seasonal holiday, which is surprising as much as familiar, but also realize how holiday history can facilitate writing your own family history narratives.
