Moderate to heavy mountain snow Thursday/Friday

● A quick moving but moist system will bring moderate to heavy precipitation to the area beginning late tonight and continuing through Friday afternoon
● Strong wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph in the mountains will result in blowing snow and reduced visibilities. Strong winds up to 50 mph in the southern and some central Colorado valleys could blow around unsecured objects or knock down tree limbs
● Mostly rain or wet rain/snow mix in the valleys
● Localized flooding possible due to rain and snow melt, particularly in southwest Colorado
