Carol Ann Valdez (“Ann”), age 81, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., passed away on Feb. 1 in Henderson, Nev.
Funeral services were held at St. Peters the Apostle Catholic Church on Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. Rosary will be held this summer at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pagosa Springs. Burial will follow at Hill Top Cemetery.
Ann was born in Durango, Colo., to Percy and Cora Chambers on Feb. 20, 1940. Ann worked as a clerk at the Jackisch Drug store for many years. She married Gilbert Valdez on Dec. 14, 1974, in Henderson, Nev.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Cora Chambers. Ann is survived by her brother, Jim Chambers, and her sister, Karen Martinez.
