It’s time for Aspen House and Aspen Services’ first annual ColorFest Color Run, a family-friendly fun run/walk/stroll.

As participants venture out on the course, colorful balloons will be filling the skies along the entire Color Run route as part of that morning’s balloon ascension. Color Run participants will be transformed into a running rainbow with vibrant colors sprayed from the five stations they pass.

This untimed, noncompetitive event is for everyone — from young to the young at heart. Add some color to your life and come out for a colorful good time.

All proceeds from the Color Run will go toward the supports needed to build a home for adults with developmental disabilities in our community. Aspen House and Aspen Services’ mission is to cultivate an environment of success for adults with developmental disabilities in their community.

The event begins at 8 a.m. in Town Park on Saturday, Sept. 18. Registration opens at 7 a.m., but to guarantee your event T-shirt, we recommend you register early at: www.eventbrite.com/e/color-run-2021-tickets-165802986195A (also located on our Facebook event page and website).

Call (970) 398-1636 or visit our website at aspenhousepagosa.org for more information.

The route is mostly flat with all paved roads or sidewalks and very few slopes and small inclines.

Don’t forget to wear white. The more white you wear, the more we can color you with love.
