    Pirate wrestling falls to Piedra Vista, goes 3-2 at Demon Duals

    Erik Wyman goes for a takedown against Piedra Vista’s Demetrio Archuleta in the season opener on Dec. 6. Coach Dan Janowsky stated that Wyman “controlled the match” after a slow start and ultimately lost a very close match. The Pirates lost the dual to Piedra Vista 42-30.

    The Pagosa Springs High School Pirate wrestling team lost a close dual to Piedra Vista High School on Friday night and went 3-2 in five duals at the Buena Vista Demon Duals on Saturday.
