Pirates fall to Basalt on late turnovers, take on Moffat County Saturday

Lewis ended the night with two catches for 25 yards and two touchdowns against Basalt, but Pagosa fell at home to the Longhorns by a score of 39-19.

The No. 18 Pagosa Springs High School Pirate football team (1-3 overall) kept it close with the No. 4 Basalt Longhorns (3-0 overall) for three quarters, but late turnovers turned out to be the team’s downfall as it fell at home by a score of 39-19.
