Pirates finish 16th at state, Lady Pirates take eighth

    Pirate sophomore Gabe Heraty works to pass multiple runners at last weekend’s state meet in Colorado Springs. Heraty set a personal record, finished 71st and helped his team to a 16th-place finish.

    Another successful season is in the books for the Pagosa Springs High School cross-country team, with both squads having a “good day” at last weekend’s state meet.
