Pagosa Springs Middle School teachers Scott White and Andy Guinn pose with eighth-grade students, from left to right, Jai Loveday, Hannah Rockensock, Skylar Sherman, Bea Yeneza, Braylon Cotts and Cisco Chavez after a discussion on the upcoming Veterans Day breakfast. This will mark the 18th year for the event, which will be held on Nov. 12 at the Ross Aragon Community Center. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and breakfast will be served until about 10:30 a.m. Volunteers will be decorating the community center gym on Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. All are welcome to volunteer and all veterans in town are welcome to attend.

For the past 18 years, Pagosa Springs Middle School (PSMS) has held its annual eighth-grade Veterans Day breakfast for veterans within Archuleta County to enjoy some breakfast, tell some stories and connect with the youth of the community.
