Pirates mauled by Panthers, bucked by Mustangs

Senior Pirate Paul Farrah gets ready to save a goal in a match on Saturday against Montezuma-Cortez. In total, he had five saves in the game Saturday. Farrah plays both striker and goalie positions, sometimes playing both positions in a single game. The Pirates fell to Montezuma-Cortez by a final score of 5-0.

The Pagosa Springs High School boys’ soccer team lost in both games over the last week, but the second match with Kirtland Central High School showed improvement.
