Pirate golfer Taylor Cotts tees off on the first hole of the day at Tuesday’s regional tournament at Hollydot Golf Club in Colorado City. Cotts, in his first appearance at a regional tournament, tied for 38th with a score of 99.
A trio of Pagosa Springs High School Pirate golfers individually qualified for the upcoming state tournament in October with their performances on the links Tuesday, giving the Pirates a team slot at the tournament.
