In an effort to support rural community members and make good use of idle funds left abandoned by former member-customers of La Plata Electric Association (LPEA) as unclaimed capital credits, the cooperative’s board of directors has awarded $10,000 to the Upper San Juan Health Service District, which does business as Pagosa Springs Medical Center.
