    Special to The PREVIEW
The Americana Project class at Pagosa Springs High School is proud to feature our Fall Concert Series special guests, The Good Time Travelers.
They will be performing on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Cost is only $10 and tickets are available at the door.
Twice a year, the students bring in professional musicians and host an evening concert, songwriting workshop and school assembly performance. Students from the class will open the evening concert.
The Americana Project is an innovative elective class at Pagosa Springs High School. The class provides an opportunity for students to explore their musical creativity and helps them build self-confidence and the ability to self express. This is the ninth year the class has been offered. The amazing amount of youthful talent that resides in Pagosa Springs continues to amaze the staff and community.
The Good Time Travelers are an award-winning songwriting and pickin’ duo made up of former Pagosa Springs resident Pete Kartsounes on acoustic guitar/vocals and Colorado-based Michael Kirkpatrick on mandolin/vocals.
Both Kartsounes and Kirkpatrick are seasoned veterans of the national music scene. Together, they have been electrifying stages with their powerful vocals and harmony, great musicianship and truly entertaining performances. This is guaranteed to be an exciting evening of music and laughter. Please come out and support our young musicians here in Pagosa Springs.
