‘Conscious Dying: Life After Death?’ to be discussed at New Thought center

According to Deepak Chopra, many of us devise a reason to be alive from our feelings. We pursue the feelings of being safe, loved, happy and fulfilled. We connect to the soul through these desires and are motivated to move into the subtle realm of the soul for the same reason. Peace and fulfillment come through direct communication with the soul. Bringing the afterlife into the present moment, opens up an immense new area of life and living.
Join Constance d’Angelis to consider how self-awareness and intention to consciously approach death and the dying process can open up a subtle level of perception. These delicately complex sensations gently connect us with the realm of the soul. This openness lessens the identification with physical feelings and fears, including the fear of death. We can access the needed powers to know something as deep as what happens after death.
d’Angelis was an attorney in a highly publicized, controversial right-to-die legal case in Florida. Reconciling her substantive role, she commenced a spiritual odyssey that culminated in her book, “The 7 Laws of Inner Peace.” She applies these principles in mindful examination of conscious death and dying.
Please join us at the Pagosa Community of New Thought, a center for spiritual growth, at 40 N. 15th St. on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m.
Due to early darkness, we are suspending Monday evening groups, and holding our movie/discussion group at 10 a.m. on the first and third Saturday of the winter months.
On Oct. 21, our Saturday morning movie will be “The Living Matrix.” This film explores the science of healing and the many contributing factors for health, including new scientific evidence that energy fields may affect as much, or more, than genetics. This film has received excellent reviews. All are welcome.
The Pagosa Community of New Thought is building a community by exploring all paths to the Divine, especially by opening minds and hearts to what brings us together, rather than what divides us.
We welcome you and your insights, beliefs, knowledge and talents. Please be part of our Sunday services and/or come to our Saturday movie/discussions of higher consciousness and principles.
