Public meeting set to address sales tax proposal for jail, sheriff’s office

    There will be a public meeting at the South Conference Room of the Ross Aragon Community Center on Sept. 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. to inform the residents of Archuleta County about the proposal to pass a 1 cent sales tax increase for the purpose of funding the proposed jail and sheriff’s office.
