Martha Ann Maddux

Martha Ann Maddux, age 76, of Rockwall, Texas, formerly of Denver and Pagosa Springs, passed away June 1. She was born Sept. 17, 1940, to Monroe Travis and Opal Ida (Bandy) Maddux.

Martha worked as a graphic designer for a few years before returning to school to become a registered nurse. She then worked for over 25 years in the cardiac ICU in Denver. Martha was very athletic and enjoyed running, hiking and snow skiing. A devoted Christian, she was of the Baptist faith.

Martha is survived by her brother, Joe Travis “J.T.” Maddux and wife Karen; and nieces and nephews: David Maddux and wife Allegra, Amy Ladd and husband Aaron, Jeremy Maddux and wife Michelle, Sandy Born Rich and husband Marvin, Dawn Born Minix and husband Jack, Scott Born and wife Kristy, and Mark Born and wife Shelley; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty L. Born.
