Special to The PREVIEW

On Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at Centerpoint Church, THRIVE will present “Laugh for Life,” starring Mike Williams, a nationally known speaker and writer who has a passion for life.

Williams can be heard daily on Sirius XM’s Laugh USA. He has recorded 17 comedy projects and written eight books, including “Men Moved to Mars When Women Started Killing the Ones on Venus” and “Love is NOT a Three-Letter Word (A New Look at Abstinence).”

His own personal adoption story and the rescue and subsequent adoption of his son will move you to tears of joy. Williams’ G-rated humor will have you rolling on the floor with laughter, while simultaneously building your reverence for the work of local lifesaving organizations.

Tickets are $20 and are on sale now at the Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, THRIVE, by phone at 264-5963 or online at www.thrivepagosa.org/events-1/.
