NOTICE is hereby given that a proposed supplemental budget and appropriation to the 2016 budget has been submitted to the Board of the Upper San Juan Health Service District (“USJHSD”). The proposed supplemental budget will be considered at a public hearing which will take place during a special meeting of the Board of Directors of USJHSD on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, commencing at 5:30 p.m. at 95 S. Pagosa Blvd., Pagosa Springs, CO.

The proposed supplemental budget and appropriation is related to USJHSD’s receipt of unanticipated revenues (of which revenues were not assured at the time of the adoption of the budget and are from a source other than USJHSD’s property tax mill levy). The unanticipated revenues are to be budgeted and appropriated for ongoing expenses of USJHSD.

A copy of the proposed supplemental budget is available for review at the location of 95 S. INVITATION TO BID

Separate sealed BIDS for the 8th Street Reconstruction Project will be received by the Town of Pagosa Springs at the Office of Davis Engineering Service, Inc., located at 188 South 8th Street, P.O. Box 1208, Pagosa Springs, Colorado 81147, until 10:00 A.M. on May 20, 2016, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The project consists of reconstructing approximately 2,650 linear feet of 8th Street within the Town of Pagosa Springs from the intersection of 8th Street and San Juan Alley to the intersection of 8th Street and Apache Street along with new curb and gutter on the westerly side. A concrete shared use path will be included along the westerly side of the street. The reconstruction will include excavation and removal of the existing material required to construct a full structural section consisting of subgrade preparation, gravel, and asphalt. The intersection of 8th Street and Piedra Street will be constructed with ±180 linear feet of concrete pavement along 8th Street and ±60 linear feet along Piedra Street. The project also includes removal and replacement of some existing drainage structures and removal of existing curb, gutter, and sidewalk on the westerly side of 8th Street. Tie-ins to adjacent streets and driveways are also included in the project. Disturbed areas will be seeded and mulched or covered with fiber mat.

PLANNING COMMISSION HEARING ON May 25

Cimarrona POA, represented by Ron B. Ault of Phoenix, Arizona, has applied for a Conditional Use Permit for the Cimarrona Ranch Water Utility, on property owned by the Christopher S. & Lorraine M.
