Lady Pirates try to best opponents and weather

A busy week was on tap beginning Friday, March 25, for the Pagosa Springs High School girls’ soccer team, with games at home scheduled that day against Ridgway, on Saturday against Telluride and on Tuesday against Center.

The match against Ridgway produced a 5-0 win for the Lady Pirates, but the contest against Telluride was called off with the ladies ahead by a goal and heavy snow falling less than two minutes short of halftime.
