An incident involving a power line and a hot air balloon occurred on the morning of Thursday, March 17, off of County Road 139.
According to Archuleta County Undersheriff Tonya Hamilton, the incident occurred when the basket of the balloon fell on the electrical wire of a power line, causing the wire to break.
