People who are experiencing grief caused by the loss of any family member (child, parent, spouse, close relative) or of a special friend are encouraged to attend GriefShare meetings scheduled for Saturday mornings in April, May and June at Community United Methodist Church.
The public is invited to participate in the free sessions, which are Christian-based nondenominational meetings. Free child care will be provided. Meetings are from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The first meeting is set for April 2.
Each session is self-contained, so a person does not have to attend in sequence. People can attend, one, several or all of the sessions.
The church is located at 434 Lewis St. in downtown Pagosa Springs. Interested persons can call the church office at 264-5508 for further information. The Rev. Claus Rohlfs is pastor of the church.
