Tribe begins analysis of shale oil and gas development

The Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund will be hosting a tribal member meeting on March 15 and a public meeting on March 22 to answer questions and hear comments and suggestions about the proposed environmental analysis for long-term development of shale oil and gas on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation. The meetings will be held in the Bonnie Kent room at the Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio beginning at 6 p.m.
