Cell tower hearing continued to May

At a special meeting held March 8, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) voted to continue a land use regulation hearing for an application for a cell tower in the Pagosa Lakes area.

According to agenda documentation used at the meeting, “Black & Veatch, representing Verizon Wireless, has applied to Rezone a parcel in the PUD zone to establish a Development Plan for property owned by the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association. On February 24, 2016, the Planning Commission recommended denial (3-1).
